Strangeways Here We Come.
A group of oppressed Manchester scallies in a high rise, rise up to get their own back on the loan shark whose been making all their life's a misery. Featuring a b list of soap actors and would be comics, it's a poor attempt at either social realism of a comedy. Films that cater to drug taking audience always come across awkward and embarrassing, like living in this level of destitute of poverty is a right laugh NOT Filmed around Salford, the boys club features prominently, alas that where The Smiths comparisons end there. I'd love to have heard a snippet of The Smiths or Morrissey. It's a shocker, but in its defence, I did want to see how the film ended mainly to see if it improved..,,,
