The show opens with Shane McMahon and the Corporation in the ring. Shane seizes control of the Corporation from his father. The first match was supposed to be Sable defending the Women's Championship in a four way match, but Sable's bodyguard Nicole Bass destroyed all her opponents before the match. Steve Austin goes to the ring to cut a promo, but is interrupted by the Rock on the Titantron, who threatens to throw Austin's smoking skull belt off of the Roody Poo Bridge unless Austin shows up to fight him. The Big Show takes on Christian. Michael Cole interviews Mankind. Billy Gunn takes on Val Venis. The Mean Street Posse go to the boiler room looking for Mankind. Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett face the Acolytes. Goldust defends the Intercontinental Championship against The Godfather. Ken Shamrock gets attacked by the Ministry of Darkness. Bob Holly defends the Hardcore Championship against D-Lo Brown. X-Pac and Kane defend the Tag Team Championship against Triple H and Test. Ken Shamrock goes to the ring and calls out the Undertaker, but gets attached by the entire Ministry again. The show ends with Steve Austin showing up at the Roody Poo Bridge to confront the Rock, but the Rock throws Austin off the bridge.
