awkward, slightly demented, dark, vulgar, and weird (a.k.a my kind of humor!)
framptonhollis12 July 2017
This brief YouTube short starring, among others, controversial comedian/performance artist Sam Hyde is among the most oddly humorous "comedy sketches" I have ever seen. It's humor comes from many separate sects of comedy, although much of it is no less than terribly obscene, but it works due to the actors involved, the slightly off putting atmosphere, and the amount of fierce wit behind some of the absolutely hideous insults. My sense of humor is certainly strange in nature so the amount of absurdity and mild confusion put into this short made me laugh out loud several times every minute. At times, one wonders whether what is happening is acting of an accidental fourth wall break and knowing that it could very well be either one adds to the joke. What is the joke? I'm not sure, but whatever it is it certainly is a cruel joke, but it is also a brilliant and unique one nonetheless!

Iconic infinitely quotable masterpiece

I've probably seen this a hundred times, it never gets less funny. Every aspect seems unplanned and the genuine reactions from both the actors and actresses makes me laugh every time.

The Anderson Cooper joke is one of the most brilliantly delivered lines I've ever seen, and the only thing that would make the whole thing better is seeing an uncut version.

The only part I found disappointing is the actor, Derek apparently not wanting to say his lines, though it's unclear if this was scripted, or because something had happened which made him uncomfortable with the entire sketch.

Overall, a 10/10 watch, with infinite rewatch value.

Like some wine with bizarre psychoactive additives

Just gets better with age! Dark humor mixed with weirdness. Reminds one of a certain video series dealing with the trolling of adult video actresses. I don't want to give too much away - just watch this for some humor that is not what you'd normally find. I've shown their works to people and just today I was thanked for introducing them to this and having the best laugh they've had all year. I'm just filling in the IMDB word count requirement at this point. Find it on YouTube, Vimeo, Archive.org, etc.

The more obscene the funnier? Warning: Spoilers
"Mons" is a 15-minute live action short film from 2013, so this one will have its 5th anniversary next year. It was directed by Andrew Ruse and written by a whole lot of people, some of them being the (male) actors also that we see in here. This is definitely not the kind of video you wanna see with your mom on Mother's Day because it is full of obscenities, profanities and insults. At times, it manages to be funny even, but I personally don't think it is enough really. Talk includes the mothers' promiscuity, the shape of their vaginas, their numerous STDS etc. and honestly looking at it all I have no idea if it is the mothers or the sons who are more f*cked up in here. Anyway, it somehow works at this low runtime I guess without ever being too entertaining really. The ending was a bit of a letdown as apparently the writers realized they were being too crass perhaps and tried to make it up by all out of nowhere suddenly talking about how wonderful the mothers are and for whatever reason. Way overrated here on IMDb, I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.
