Basically Saints Row IV, But Slightly Worse.

It's a really good game to just mindlessly play whilst listening to a podcast or multi-tasking.

Not amazing, Not bad,Not saints row

I would just like to start by saying this game is good and gives you a good 6 hours of fun... But saying that this is not the saints row we all love.. why have they had to go make it all magical and futuristic what was wrong with how saints row 2 and 3 was? Why steer in this direction. It can also be very glitchy and buggy... but as said before it is fun for 6 hours then gets boring would not recommend full price

too short

Warning: Spoilers
If you liked 4 you'll like gat outta hell. The story has the same sense of humor we're used to and I can see why this game came out so fast. It's not a gigantic world and for the "on sale" price more than fair compared to buying a costume in a fighting game or another shark card for GTA online. It's not a very long game. Most of which is just side quests. Aside from upgrading the weapons you can 100% this game in 20 hours, there is hardly any story missions in this game either. How they constructed SR4 though they could have just put another simulation tube or something. But how insane and with very little logic SR4 had anything went and that was the charm.

As usual what made open world games like this fun. Missions? Sure they help but rampages. Now just like the worlds most over rated video game GTA5 the issue with both franchises your wanted level sky rockets WAY too quickly. Unlike GTA5 your wanted level will eventually go away if you kill what is called an arch duke. If you've got a fully upgraded say boom chika (pink shotgun that represents lust) you can take him out in 2-3 shots. Just like the bouncing rifle or the black hole gun you can get to see an arch duke in under a minute if you do it right.

Most of the guns you'll find get extremely useful with their added on powers. Some of which I would never have given a chance without the challenges absolutely. The cars no one cares about. The flight takes some time to get used to as you can fly up and down instead of this big glide your hero did in the game before so it gives different mini games and how they did the story as well in my opinion. Not sure why everyone asks for this big story like final fantasy 7 when one of the most useless characters in the game gets stabbed by the most over rated character or metal gear solid 5 when quiet wanders off into the desert. As usual you take over a part of the city but should do the missions as quickly as possible otherwise you'll do a lot of back tracking as you gain new powers or activities to do. I miss the old british voice I had in the games before as Johnny always sounds like he has food in his mouth but then again it would not be gat out of hell without johnny. The co-star is someone no one wanted.. Kinzie .. why is she there other than fan service. And a hilarious opening. I would even play as Shaundi ... then again I wouldn't.

After getting king of hell achievement (100% the game). I found myself spending WAY too much time getting all the weapons fully upgraded and the challenges do not hold you over as you'd think ok I'll kill 100 demons with this pistol and I'll have enough cash left over to buy a shotgun upgrade.. yeah... not going to happen. After killing professor Genki who is an absolute chore he gives you 2$ where as the arch duke who is like the warden bad guys in SR4 he pays you whatever and whenever he feels like. Sometimes you'll get a few hundred other times up to 10-20,000$. I was minutes from getting my last upgrade and he didn't pay 2 or 3 times. It makes you wonder how aware the developers are of this. I say the weapons cost too much to upgrade. After the first upgrade everything is practically 5000 , 10,000. I think after all the weapon challenges I was grinding for another 2 hours so get out your phone or whatever and blast your two or three favorite albums as mush mouth I mean johnny gats one liners have probably gotten old and no one picks Kinzie.

The collection items to get the powers luckily they are shared between the two characters. I'm surprised this game doesn't have a workshop option honestly... or cheats. It's a good game i'll play it twice. Don't let the third party developer know someone actually enjoyed the game enough to play it twice. I 100% the game twice how short it was.

Some tips to get more money kill civilians with a fully upgraded diamond stinger (bling gun style uzi) which you get a bit later in the game, go after dexter the husk with the purple hat on as much as possible with any other firearms he pays well. The arch duke pays the best but only when he feels like it. The club with shakespear a lot of people recommend is a chore unless you're playing on hardcore don't bother. It just keeps the cops from going in. The only way to really get money or do a lot of weapon challenges easier is simple. Get Professor Genki to appear and then fly to a floating island making sure he doesn't bother you. Eventually two of those floating wizards will appear and just keep shooting the imps until you get the challenges you're after. The only challenge Genki is really handy to have around is the grenade launcher with the frogs as Genki's life bar is stupidly high. It's quite easy to lose Genki too if you want to get the driving challenge as you'll be doing laps around empty roads.

Things i didnt like or ways to improve the fraud mission is unpredictable in this game, fun when you're trying to get a high score but the achievement is just sadistic to get where you've got to bounce on 5 cars.

As stated before your wanted level sky rockets wayy to quickly the epic flight quest challenge they could have been more clear the assassins creed homage achievement is too specific the arch duke should pay consistently not how quickly or whatever you can the car surf challenge is evil or dumb luck and I used to love the tony hawk games the 5 car bounce challenge without touching the ground is the worst challenge of the game the omega omega omega paddle (tri omega) weapon challenge could have been more clear weapon challenges should also count on husks (the other guys besides demons) there are too many weapons most of which you'll never use for more than 30 minutes the voice clips of johnny and kinzie should be able to collect by either customization is non-existent. This game came out fast and was cheap for a reason

all in all i don't understand why people are complaining get this on sale if you're a fan of 4. Which I think is the best in the series so far playing each twice mind you. If not go play grand theft auto and die tumbling down a hill or taking ONE shotgun blast to the chest go ahead.

Not really a game in itself

Warning: Spoilers
C tier, 6/10. Really just felt like a more expanded dlc. It even keeps your custom character from saints row 4 which is cool but makes it seem more like dlc. The world of hell was a cool setting and I loved seeing returning characters who were dead come back. It really makes sense for Ultor to rain in hell and Vogul to be the slimy suit leader of it.

Should have had Oleg and nightblade in there story was great but the gameplay was literally just doing side missions until the final boss. I liked the fact you could choose the ending, although I wish you could see all of them. The one I chose where gat learns the secrets of the universe was ok but should have had more to it.

I'll search up all the endings but I wish I picked the one where the saints find a new world. If I bought this as a full game and not on ps now I would be very disappointed. A decent is very short game that is basically a bunch of really standard side missions surounded by great characters and an interesting story. I feel i can only give a 6/10 as there isn't really much content at all.

Enjoyable but really not worth it unless you have played saints row 4.

Just what I expected

Warning: Spoilers
First things first: Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell is not the next game, it's not a full game, it's like a bigger DLC. Now, with that in mind, how is the game? If you liked Saints Row IV, you will love this. The gameplay is familiar, though instead of gliding around, you actually fly and the flying mechanics are pretty well done. The story itself is short (3-4 hours), though there are, as always, lots of collectibles and 5 different endings. There are vehicles in the game, but they have little to no role in the game, so I wouldn't say it's a bad thing they are the way they are (flying and running is faster anyway). The only thing I missed is some kind of radio station as the default background music is not too noticeable most of the time. Regardless, the fun factor is still big, so I highly recommend the game.

A Great Street Gang Game That Came Out Of Hell
kervindonngo5 December 2022
One of the last games that take place in the current universe. Is Saints Row Gat Out of Hell

From The Playa (the name of the default protagonist) who became a street gang member who became the leader of the 3rd Street Saints to becoming an actor/actress in the third game and now the only United States President alive who suddenly got kidnapped by Satan who came from actual Hell.

As crazier this franchise gets. Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell let us play two of the playable characters that are Johnny Gat the returning fan-favorite Saints Row character who just loves to kill a ton of his enemies and Kinzie Kensington the former FBI agent who is now with the 3rd Street Saints who became more than just a street gang.

The map inside Hell felt a bit very small. Meaning that I expect the time map of hell to feel bigger. Clothing shops and garages were removed from the game due I believed it has no use in Saints Row IV, the soul pedestrians felt like it looked like it has been copy-pasted but Hell is still Hell, Calling homies to have no use in this game and the missions and the story in this game is just a little too short which explains on why the max level this game is only level 20, not level 50. Must have been the budget concerns in this game or something to move on to new Volition projects.

The things that I love about the game are the weapons that are absolutely fun to use like the Armchair-A-Geddon which is more like an electric wheelchair that is a shape of a couch that has mini guns on both sides and the takedowns I just like Saints Row but better when playing as Johnny Gat because most of his takedowns specialize on knives while for Kinzie is almost the same unarmed takedowns but one of her takedowns contains rapid punching which I remember about taking down the main controller in Hotspot side activities.

Saints Row Gat Out Of Hell Does Not Feel Like The Grand Finale Of the Classic Era of Saints Row but it's still a great game if you wanted to play as mainly Johnny Gat.
