Very good Norwegian irony about themselves, their meaning of life, attitude towards immigrants. Van Zandt brings fantastic NY Italian mafia feeling. It's a pity that the movie is only 3 seasons :(

Ok so there's probably not a lot that you can make up about life in a small Norwegian town so maybe 3 seasons was enough. Jan's killing was a bit unnecessary in my opinion, after all he wasn't the one that killed the father in law. He was a very good character who deserved to see it through to the end.
We were gypped!!!

How dare you end the SERIES like this?? How can they end it with the cliff hanger if Segrid killing milk boy and nothing else about it?
This was such a great series, ending it without the resolution to a murder by a key character? Wow, was such a letdown!!! This was an amazing series. Steven VanZandt is a great mobster set in Norway! The ending felt like a season ending, definitely not a series ending episode! The writing was amazing and fun. This series was laugh out loud funny and tear jerking too. This could have easily been three or four more seasons. What on earth was Netflix thinking cancelling this show?????

There are some loose ends indeed, such as Sigrid killing her degenerate boyfriend in a bathtub without anybody noticing. Also, the plot with Brazilian girl Alex had a weird development (she seeing angels and disappearing into the night...), making her presence in the series a big question mark.
Jan's demise was long due and I don't get those reviews that found it excessive: Jan was a horrible character, a civil servant who exploited young immigrants for sex, a murderer and a whiny coward. Didn't seem such a big loss to society.
On the whole the third series was a huge fiasco, with an inconsistent storyline, useless characters and too many false starts leading nowhere.
