Amazon Studios has added five new kids' pilots to its growing slate of original series. The third children's pilot season — which will debut in early 2015 — includes three animated shows and two live-action series in addition to the previously announced Sara Solves It pilot. They include whodunit Buddy: Tech Detective from writer Jennifer Hamburg (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood), book adaptation The Stinky & Dirty Show from writer Guy Toubes (Littlest Pet Shop), comic book adaptation Niko and the Sword of Light from writer Rob Hoegee, live-action lunchroom series Table 58 from director Gil Junger (Greek)

During the last kids’ pilot season, one of the highest-rated pilots was Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, which was created by pre-school teacher David Anaxagoras, a first-time writer who was discovered through Amazon Studios’ open-door submission process.
