Sex & Nudity

- Cyberpunk 2077 contains full frontal male and female nudity of various sorts. This can be turned off by the player at any time in the game's settings.
- Turning off nudity will also skip sex scenes.
- Several main characters in the story can be "romancable", where the player is given the choice to engage in sexual activity with them. This can however be disabled by disabling nudity in settings.
- All Sexual Content is optional or can be turned off. If your kid wants to play the game you can just watch them and you should be fine.
- Full detailed nudity of both sexes. Characters can be customized all the way down to the size and shape of their genitals, pubic hair, breasts, etc.
- There's a scene where Johnny takes over vs body, and he picks up a girl and while in the car, he begins to rub her private area before interrupted.
- There is a "gig" where you go to a gay strip club. (It's optional to visit this place again after the mission). The strip club has a neon light animated image of a penis going erect.
Violence & Gore

- The game features brutal violence and visceral gore.
- There is tons of gore, dismemberment and decapitations. Players can decapitate enemies with powerful weapons such as shotguns. The weaker guns show minimal amounts of blood. 9/10 at minimum.
- Higher amount of gore and more violent than all the GTA and Witcher games.
- The amount of violence that the player sees in the game largely depends on their playstyle. If they decide to go guns blazing, things can get really messy really fast.
- One in-game advertisement features an image of a man ripping his own face off. Very easy to miss and stoppable though.
- Similar violence to the likes of the doom games and wolfenstein games if you can stomach them then you can stomach this.
Profanity

- Usage of "Fuck", "Shit", among other words.
- In the 1.5 patch you can buy apartments (just like I mentioned in the drug and alcohol section) and in one of the apartments you can play pool, there is a chance where you're character miss the hole and shows his middle finger to the pool table
- There are 700+ instances of curse words in this game, which is the highest in video games next to Rogue Warrior, Scarface The World Is Yours, Mafia II, GTA V and Bulletstorm. Keep in mind there is over 104 hours of content in this game though so Its fairly spaced apart.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- Your character and other NPC's use a drug called "juice."
- Various characters smoke throughout the game.
- Many characters drink alcohol throughout the game. Your character can regularly drink alcohol in conversations, as well as find alcohol consumables in the world.
- In the 1.5 patch, players can buy apartments and in some of them there is a table where you can drink, one in particular has smoking included.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- There are some intense scenes such as chases for example but honestly, not that bad of content. If you've played Red Dead Redemption II, it's on par with that.
Spoilers
Sex & Nudity
- One cutscene in the game involves a very graphic sex scene involving Johnny and a female character. Full frontal and rear nudity are seen throughout. However, it is completely optional as turning off the sexual content will remove the cutscene completely.
Violence & Gore
- There is a reference to a woman being raped by a man. She later commits suicide.
- One side quest (Sinnerman) involves the crucifixion of an inmate who was in jail for murder. It can be pretty involved, as you get the option to hammer the nails into the cross, but if it's too intense, you can finish the quest without it.
Profanity
- Language can be toned down and there's a mod to shut off swearing.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In one of the endings the main character talks to Johnny and rogue, after that the camera cuts to the city and a gunshot can be heard indicating that the main character kills himself, you can't see it due to the camera showing a view of the city but is dark.
- There are a couple of jumpscares in the game however it happens rarely.
