- Events in this category involve teens over the age of consent and/or young adults. In a short, gentle scene, a male and female lie down in bed and kiss. They wake in bed together; sex is implied. He is seen shirtless, she is seen in bra and panties.
- A female briefly exposes her breasts (seen) and pubic area (not seen) to a webcam customer who is implied to be masturbating. Another girl is invited to join in.
- Two females kiss once.
- There's not much sexual talk. Two females discuss what guys like to do and whether each of them have had sex; it's not lengthy or explicit. Also, at a Goth party, an older guy in submissive attire offers to perform a sex act on another guy for the girls' entertainment.

- Teens/young adults smoke and drink socially, and do so to excess at a couple of parties. A character vomits once briefly as a result of overindulgence. The main character accepts and takes a pill at one party; she and another woman are shown high later and sleep/pass out on a bus-stop bench.

- A traffic accident is startling, loud, and intense.
- There are several sad scenes related to the sisters' loss of a family member, and to the relationship between the sisters.
