"Sons of Anarchy" fans who are having a hard time coming to grips with the impending end of the FX biker drama got a bit of good news about their beloved show this week when creator Kurt Sutter hinted that he may write a "Sons" prequel series.
During a panel discussion at the Television Critics Association summer press tour Monday, Sutter said that he was still considering a planned prequel spinoff, though he cautioned that it wouldn't be anywhere near as long as "Sons"'s seven-season run.
EW reports:
"If I do the prequel, it will probably be a one-off," Sutter said, suggesting a 10-episode miniseries model. "I don't think it's a full blown five-season series."
While that may be a bit disappointing to diehard "Soa" fans, at least there's a glimmer of hope that the story will continue in some way, even if it's fleeting.
