One of the best documentaries I've ever watched
sararussell1 October 2015
This film provides multiple accounts of lives turned inside out by mercury poisoning. This is a controversial and confusing topic because not everyone who is exposed to mercury responds in the same way. Some people are much more genetically susceptible to the ill effects of this toxic substance, and notice immediately that something is wrong. Other people do not notice the effects of mercury as readily. This film is not against vaccines, or light bulbs, or any other product or artifact. It is against the use of an extremely toxic product that has caused grave harm to humans over history, over and over again. Mercury was used to treat syphilis, and in baby teething powder, and in thermometers, and in topical preparations. It was banned from these products, only to resurface in large amounts in one of the most common items in Western homes - our light bulbs. Children and adults are still getting exposed to more or less the same amount of mercury in vaccines because the number of vaccines and doses has increased, and most flu vaccines contain mercury.

Most important documentary on ingredients in vaccines
britterbritt18 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
When I watched this I was enraged. The CDC has knowingly and without any care has kept thimerosol in almost all vaccines even though people think it's been removed this is not true. This documentary has to be the second most important documentary I've seen to date and I am so thankful to be exposed to this important information. I have learned that our CDC is a corrupt entity and is being paid large sums of money by Pharmaceutical companies to fast track and have not quality control on vaccines. If you have grandkids, your best-friend has kids, you are an Aunt or Uncle or you have kids, this is a MUST SEE. It's not anti-vaccine at all. It's absolutely an informative documentary about what is inside the vaccines and what Scientist have come forward stating how these ingredients are harmful.

Truthful, Accurate, and Scientifically Sound
lonihull17 April 2015
Another reviewer here knocked this movie as "anti-vaxxer nonsense", but that reviewer must have had a difficult time watching the movie with his head so far up his...

The truth is that this film captures an accurate timeline regarding the unnecessary and growing exposure of people around the world to high levels of mercury, and the devastating neurological damage that can and often does result. More to the point, virtually every study regarding the neurotoxicity of mercury, organic mercurials, and thimerosal specifically, backs the conclusions in the film.

Not one person interviewed in the film was anti-vaccine, but they were certainly against the unnecessary use of thimerosal in medicine and vaccines, as well as against other forms of mercury exposure.

Must see.

Really compelling look at the controversy behind the CDC vaccine schedule
chris-263828 April 2015
I was expecting to get an anti-vaccine film, but I was pleasantly surprised to watch a film that lifted the cover of the conflict of interest at the CDC and why so many parents of children with autism are angry and distrustful of anything the CDC puts out. No wonder -- the private email correspondence and phone calls from CDC personnel is something straight out of Erin Brokovich. Just stunning that more people don't know what was said behind closed doors and in what they thought were private phone and email conversations. This documentary is a real eye opener even for those of us who have had our kids fully vaccinated and wonder why so many people are so ticked off at the scientific community. Now I know, and my heart goes out to them like never before. I can't believe the vitriol that some internet trolls and celebrities have for people who are anti-vaccine -- after watching this film, I completely get why they don't trust the government. It also makes me wonder if people who post negative comments about the film are being paid by the vaccine lobby. <----- And I wish that was a joke!

Anti-Vaxxer Nonsense + Poor Filmmaking = Trace Amounts
atomspiegel14 April 2015
I had the chance to catch this film at the Seattle Film Festival last year. It was easily the worst thing I saw there or anywhere in 2014.

I won't go into the idiocy of the views described in the film and the fact that they are contrary to everything that reputable science says. Instead I will just say that it barely works on a film level. I am okay with a movie about something I disagree with as long as it is well made, but this is a typical first effort doc from someone who thinks they have something to say and buys a camera to say it.

This film is an argument against digital cinema, it is an argument against democratizing the medium. It shows that with technology as it is, anybody can pretend like they know how to make a movie, and if the subject matter is controversial enough or fits into a certain world view it will get seen. It's sort of like a movie about Obama being a Kenyan or a movie with Larry the Cable Guy, it's a terrible idea and a terrible movie but people will still see it.

Extremely Educational and Entertaining
merck_jason28 April 2015
You can rent the film on their website as well (www.TraceAmounts.com). Incredibly well done, tons of credible science that is easy to digest. There is a reason this topic is so controversial.

Has history not shown us similarly tragedies with the harmful effects of smoking and lead in paint, all started with junk science and marketing. Why is this any different? Watch the film, come to your own conclusion, and spread the word to as many people as you can! This is a topic worth fighting for, and must be discussed.

Who ever said they didn't like the film in Seattle must have been watching another film. This film is incredibly well done! One of if not the best documentary I've ever seen. It is an absolute must see!

Nonsense defended by fools
thegoodmantg22 March 2019
This is anti-vaccine propaganda poorly masquerading as science. It takes an impressively small amount of effort to find a wealth of data and studies that eviscerate this shoddy premise.

As an aside, the community defending this shows a truly impressive combination of arrogance and ignorance. They come here fired up to defend something they believe in, but claim anyone who disagrees is being paid by biG pHaRMa. Because only their Pure Truth can inspire public support. Of course, any reasoning or facts you present to them will be twisted until it's evidence that any who disagree with them are villains.

This is one of the most dangerous and closed-minded groups today.

Great movie
rcahrens1 October 2015
Eric did a wonderful job telling his story and he did a lot of great research. Any one who has been affected by injection poisoning can relate to this movie. This movie is making a difference in the world and our hope is that it will change the way vaccines are given and change the ingredients in the vaccines. We are NOT against just the ingredients. Big pharmaceutical companies are to blame for Autism in this world. They are greedy at our expense! The government should not force families to get vaccines, especially for children already suffering from poisoning. Please see this movie and listen to the message. This movie struck home in two of our families. Thank you for making this movie and making a difference.

WRONG AGAIN
mbparada14 November 2019
Another piece of fiction trying to pass itself off as a documentary. Using big chemical names to scare people is all it does. Most of these are naturally occuring elements in the human body, or you are exposed to higher levels than any vaccine in your day to day life (ex. More aliuminum is found in your day to day deodorant than in a vaccine). Stop perpetuating nonsense!

Excellent & Very Important Film!
akchum24 December 2019
I saw this film when it opened in Seattle and had an opportunity to speak briefly with Eric. My own son was vaccine injured at 2 years and 2 months of age, but he didn't fully recover. He now has a lifelong disability despite being developmentally normal at the time of the vaccine. Too many people are burying their heads in the sand and ignoring the rapidly swelling numbers of vaccine injuries. I am grateful to Eric for this film, as my son was rendered nonverbal by his vaccine injury and cannot describe what he's experiencing. I highly recommend this film to everybody who wants to be and stay healthy.

Outstanding! After decades the truth is coming to light! MUST WATCH!
docleepierce18 January 2017
This is an absolute must watch for EVERYBODY. Excellent quality, easy to understand and a wake up call for society. Lives will be saved because for this movie. Be sure to share with your friends and family. As a chiropractor for over 30 years, I have been hoping for the day that this information would make it to the mainstream media. Finally, all those parents of damaged children, who were vilified and ridiculed as ignorant "anti- vaxers" now have not only vindication but hope for treatment. It is astounding to me how anyone one could make the vile fraudulent policies that were pushed by the CDC. Our government at work. BTW, beware of the inevitable, Big Pharma paid trolls that will attack this project. Watch for yourself and make your own mind up on the content.

Disappointing...

Producers are trying to convey a message that mostly falls on deaf ears.
