Nikos takes superferry to Syros, where he goes to work with the Port Police and struggling local shipbuilders. He then travels to Paros and meets a heroic fisherman who helped saved hundreds of lives after a recent ferry crash.
In Naxos, Nikos spends time with the harbourmaster, goes windsurfing and goes sailing with a flamboyant tycoon. After a crazy 24 hours on the party island of Ios, he heads to Amorgos to dive for pirate treasure and visit a famous monastery.
Nikos stays with a Fournoi fishing family, sees first-hand the results of overfishing and confronts the captain of a super trawler. In Samos, Nikos meets renowned wooden boat builders and enjoys a cruise with a most memorable sea captain.
Nikos meets a billionaire shipowner on Oinousses, an island famous for its shipping families. After going on patrol with the Hellenic Coast Guard in Agathonisi, he learns to sail a 50 foot yacht, visiting secluded islands Arki and Lipsi.
After sailing his yacht to Kalymnos to meet the its famous sponge divers, Nikos boards a square-rigged clipper to visit the holy island of Patmos. Returning to Athens, Nikos is reunited with Captain Makis at the Temple of Poseidon.
