All main characters are scam artists, this show is used to promote a scam to unsuspecting audience
This show defies all logic. All main characters are scam and the show itself is to promote a scam to unsuspecting and gullible audience. Anyone with basic knowledge of the sports betting will spot these guys as scammers with in 5 minutes of watching any episode.
The main character used to have another name in the past (I believe it is darin nataro or something along those lines) and he was a convicted fraud who did time for defrauding senior citizens through telemarketing scam. He cleverly changed his name to Steve Stevens because of this show so that search engine can confuse the people who want to look him um...because that name is also a popular musician's name.
The show i fully scripted with actors. All the clients are actors. They claim 77% win, anyone in the industry knows that it is impossible in the long run even if you pick favourites. There are people tracking and posting Stevens picks in some major sports betting forums and his real winning % is under 30%. You never see his poor clients in the show. In fact all the clients he gets are stupid and desperate people who are looking for a quick way to get rich and they fall for this scam. It is hard to believe that the network will enable these scammers.
In the show he advices his clients to bet 25 to 50% of the bankroll. This will make you go broke in no time. Professional bettors don't bet more than 2 to 3% of the bankroll in a game. Real professional services that actually win have track record of all plays and use conservative money management. For example, take a look at bettingresource.com. This guy simply lies and uses terrible actors to promote a scam. Everything is terrible from acting to the script. But I can see desperate people falling for this scam easily since its on a network TV.
