"Erledigung einer Sache" tells the story of a young man, whose mother recently died and who has to meet up with his biological father in a psychiatric clinic in order to fulfil her last will. However, things go a bit different from what she had in mind.
The production looks very worthy and everything is acted very professionaly. I do admire the plot and the dialogues and I also admire the twist but unofrtunately, it didn't hit me as a surprise. Already somewhere in the middle of this short, I suspected there could be something fishy. However, it is still a great idea and I like that producers had the courage to realize it in a short film rather than trying to fill more time than necessary as seen too often.
All in all this is a great approach that maybe needs some more thought regarding how to mislead the audience. I would definitely watch more of the producers.
