Bianca is very difficult to like in the first part of this episode, especially her storming down the beach to yell at Jess.She gets better as it goes along, while Heath tries too hard to please her but ultimately can't escape his desire to be a father.It's nice that the climax point comes with a bang not a whimper.
Phoebe is pretty much impossible to like as she seems to be having a negative effect on Kyle and getting in the way of his character arc.It feels like we're meant to be willing them to stay together but instead we're willing for her to leave.
There's some nice comedy banter with Irene struggling to find a girl for Chris(although revving him up and sending him in Tamara's direction is a bad idea), with nice input from Leah and Roo.
Sadly, the punchline is the unexplained reappearance of someone who really hasn't been missed.Did they have to?
