We saw this short at the Horror On Sea film festival. The makers are fans of old exploitation movies and this short is based around an actress that used to be a star of the genre. It looks at where she is now, living in London, struggling for work, liking a drink too much and doing whatever it takes to make the rent (you'll need to find that bit out for yourselves but there's a hilarious Doctor Who related moment!) It's enormous fun and seeing a very well known face beautifully play her dodgy agent was a surprise, and Blanche herself is absurdly believable! We guffawed with laughter and how the makers managed to weave in what was meant to be old movie footage was clever; and we'd quite like to see some of those films please!
