Paul worries that Owen dates even less then Jane after their breakup and inspires Stacy to seek him a suitable mate - none other then the firm's new temp lawyer, Belinda Scotto, who handles with Grayson the claim of Calvin and Sarah Evans against the cruise line whose rickety ship leaving passengers and staff stranded in the Caribbean for five days turned their last marriage-salvage-cruise into a divorce-ripe trauma, which initially fails and even lands them on piracy charges until Grayson sets the jurisdictions straight. Jane convinces a young man who was fired for theft to plead guilty of the arson in his boss's shop which killed the wife, as requested by his brother, to make parole for their mother's funeral. Having subpoenaed Owen to dispute his ruling on a previous arson charge and failed the insincere parole demand, it's truth shall set you free time for the innocent and turning tables for crooks. After taking time alone, Grayson concludes he neither knows or trusts reincarnated Deb nor Jane anymore, but chooses to start dating the new Jane from zero.
