Today, Abbie will steal back her child Ruby. The problem is that she doesn't know what Ruby looks like; mother and child were separated five years ago. Will they still know each other? Abbie thinks so. This short film is a culmination of real-life stories from women about their situations; their thoughts and feelings about forced adoption in both the past and the present. The film also raises questions about modern-day adoption. Above all, it delves deeply into the bond between mother and child and what happens when it is broken.
