There was first a permanent injunction to the law until the Illinois Eavesdropping Law was struck down and removed by the Illinois Supreme Court March 20, 2014. But Reinstated as a NEW Illinois Eavesdropping Law in Dec 2014, signed into law with outgoing Gov Quinn's signature. Back again, now we see how courts will decide..have not seen...yet.
Precedent setting cases on The Illinois Eavesdropping Law which was declared unconstitutional by Judge Sachs in a 12 page document. on March 2, 2012. Declaring in Chris Drew's Case, based on "wholly innocent conduct" Chris was supported by two pro bono lawyers, first, Mark Weinberg, and then at the final challenges, Josh Kutnick. This law was additionally declared unconstitutional in Illinois in several other cases, including that of Tiawanda Moore, Michael Allison and the ACLU case.
