Several decades ago, Pet Shop Boys shared a six-track dance album titled Relentless as the second disc of their limited edition double LP Very Relentless. In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the band decided to make the rarity available once again on October 20th via Parlophone.
Back in 1993, Pet Shop Boys released their fifth studio album, Very, to critical acclaim and worldwide success. In addition to topping the UK albums chart, it spawned the Top 10 singles “Go west” (a Village People cover) and “Can you forgive her?” They expanded the release with the aforementioned Very Relentless while also making Relentless available as a standalone vinyl limited to 500 copies. The six tracks on the latter album have not been available since then.
The reissue of Relentless will be available as a limited edition yellow vinyl with new artwork, as well as in CD and digital formats. Pre-orders are ongoing. See the artwork and tracklist below.

Guns N’ Roses’ summer tour has been rich in surprises: an updated and shuffling set list, the debut of the new song “Perhaps,” and guests ranging from Carrie Underwood to Andrew Dice Clay. Add Chrissie Hynde to that list. On Monday, the Pretenders leader joined Axl Rose and the band onstage at Boston’s Fenway Park to play some mean harmonica on “Bad Obsession.”

Following Foo Fighters’ surprise Friday performance at Glastonbury, Dave Grohl stuck around for another unannounced cameo on Saturday: the Foo Fighters frontman played drums for Pretenders during their own set at the UK festival.

The Pretenders’ set included songs like “Back On the Chain Gang,” “Don’t Get Me Wrong,” “I’ll Stand By You,” and “Tattooed Love Boys.” Watch fan captured footage below.
Pretenders are set to release their new album, Relentless, on September 15th. Last week, they unveiled their latest single, “I Think About You Daily” featuring Jonny Greenwood.

“I Think About You Daily” is a tender, melancholy ballad featuring a gorgeous string arrangement from Greenwood, an accomplished composer outside of his work with Radiohead and The Smile. New World, a new Mmo title from Amazon, is the tech company’s second video game offering after its online shooter Crucible had a less than stellar launch earlier this year. With this new take on the well-trodden PC genre, Amazon hopes to put its fledgling game division back on course.
Developed by Relentless Studios, the game is set in the 16th century during the “Age of Exploration,” on the mysterious island of Aeturnum. Magic, historical weapons, and firearms coexist in the folkloric setting, as three factions battle it out over territory and resources on the creature-infested island.
The game is combat-heavy and eschews a traditional class-based system for a weapons-based one in which custom build-outs and skillsets are tied to weapons. Combat feels similar to Dark Souls: dodge rolls, blocking, and perfectly timed strikes are keys to victory in a fight. But the responsiveness isn’t quite as razor-sharp...

This What We Do in the Shadows review contains spoilers.
What We Do in the Shadows Season 2 Episode 10
In the What We Do in the Shadows season 2 finale, “Nouveau Théâtre des Vampires,” all the world’s a stage and the players merely vampires. It is a bittersweet ending to a strangely eventful and celebratory season, because parting is such sweet, though often salty, sorrow.
The first parting comes very early. Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak) opens the episode in his coffin, a foreboding sign the episode will be a special event. The ancient vampire has to do it without any help because he wakes to find he was abandoned by his loyal familiar. Guillermo (Harvey Guillén) leaves with just a one-word note, “sorry.” But who cares, the Staten Island vampires are going to Nouveau Théâtre des Vampires, or Vampire Theater, as Colin Robinson puts it, g-damn it.

NRA TV already has many critics, but it drew even more backlash this week after depicting characters from the children’s television show “Thomas & Friends” wearing Ku Klux Klan hoods.
The National Rifle Association’s online video channel aired a segment in which spokeswoman Dana Loesch slammed the Nick Jr. cartoon for adding two female characters to its cast, Rebecca and Nia, one of which is from Kenya, according to the New York Times.
“They’ve decided that the next stop is Virtue Town,” said last Friday on her NRA TV program “Relentless,” the NRA TV program that she hosts.

Elisabeth Moss makes no apologies about it: when it comes to season two of her Emmy-winning Hulu series, the erstwhile Offred wants to see viewers squirming in their seats.
Literally, that was Moss' goal when she attended the Hollywood premiere of The Handmaid's Tale season two — and consider the mission fully accomplished. A packed audience at the Tcl Chinese Theater watched in stunned silence as the brand new hour of the dystopian drama unfolded, until the stunned silence evolved into vocal discomfort in the final minutes of the episode.
