Lily: There you are. I've been looking all over. Look, Carmen, please don't be angry with me.
Carmen: I'm not angry. I just... I just don't see why you want to go.
Lily: To be with my dad, be part of Jonah growing up. Look, I don't know, it's important.
Carmen: Aren't your sisters important? Me, the Dumping Ground? Doesn't what's here add up to more than a dad that's let you down more than enough times?
Lily: It's a new start for me, too. There's a college not far, I can sign up for a catering course. Maybe one day I'll be a professional cook.
Carmen: What, and there's no colleges here?
Lily: Carmen, we are completely different people. We want completely different things. This caff, it feels like... I don't even know what it feels like. When I imagine it all, all of us working together, cooking, making the place feel dead welcoming... it's exciting. Carmen, you won't be sticking around here for long either. Once you've got enough money and you've left school, you'll be travelling the world.
[Shows animation of Lily at the cafe by the beach, and Carmen leaving on a aeroplane]
Carmen: Have you told the others?
Lily: Mike's telling them.
Carmen: How long has he known for?
Lily: Only a couple of days. I rang him to say I wouldn't be staying again. Someone might need the bed.
Carmen: Wait, so Mike's known for days and you decide to tell me the day you're going? See, if it had been me, you know you'd have been the first person I told!
Lily: Carmen, I wanted to tell you face-to-face, but...
Carmen: How can you say that you're going to come and visit when you won't bother to cross town to tell me you're going?
Lily: Carmen, I will visit.
Carmen: No, you won't.
Lily: Carmen, I have to. Poppy and Rosie are here.
Carmen: Yeah, that's right, your perfect little family. If there's any time left, you can come over and give me five minutes.
Lily: I didn't mean that.
Carmen: Or stand at the top of the street and wave.
Lily: Carmen, please...
Carmen: Leave me alone!
