- Trapped by his own carnality and emptiness, Donny (Robert Lee) is weary of distributing counterfeit ecstasy through his plastic turtle tanks. After sheltering a young, homeless girl (Sarah Stunt) from his neighborhood street, he discovers a meaningful relationship that pushes him out of his barred pet shop. Together they run against gritty fences and walls, they heal and sing. They nearly find love. Yet as these memories dissolve in and out, Donny's drug-dealing partner (Jimmy Ricardo Cruz) reminds him of the violent consequence that is inevitably married to the reality of their past. Donny's redemptive dream is tested and all that remains is the hope to move an inch in the right direction.—Anonymous
