This is not one of those short films which end before they begin.

Could a wish of a mother to have a son with the prettiest feminine eyelashes, be stronger than her fear for his safety, outside of her own infantile world? Whose irrational fears become a nightmare, and whose carelessness builds rational family relations? In this short film, the author is trying to solve this dilemma, without really ending his story and finding its resolution.

Anyone could identify with the main character and find in his own childhood the strength and resistance of little Victor. An irrational fear of the main heroine is not only characteristic for mothers. Just like outside this fiction, in real life, it is not possible to foresee the outcome, nor the sympathy or impartiality of the author's justice. This movie doesn't need to be rewind. He'll keep your constant attention and you'll enjoy it till the very end.

Remarkable Justin Ellings is persuasive in a very difficult role. This child is to become a new Ryan Gosling in the next 15 years.

This is not one of those short films which end before they begin. By watching "Scaremonger" you surely won't have the feeling as if nothing happened, quite the opposite, this short film leaves strong impression as most of good feature-length movies. The author convinced us that he could continue to entertain us even longer than 30 minutes.
