Objective Media Group America, the company behind Fox’s Flirty Dancing and TBS’ upcoming Dwayne Wade-led adaptation of The Cube, had its best year yet during the pandemic.
The U.S. arm of the British superindie was helped by the success of 12 Dates Of Christmas, a breakout dating format for HBO Max that was quickly renewed for a second season for the WarnerMedia streamer.
The show follows singles as they meet potential love interests and go on the titular 12 dates in the hopes of finding a special someone to bring home for the holidays. The first series was shot in a castle in Austria but Jilly Pearce, EVP, Objective Media Group America tells Deadline that they are shooting the second season in a “glamorous lodge in the middle of a forest” in Tahoe.

Exclusive: Tim Pastore is stepping down at All3Media America. The former Nat Geo exec, who was CEO of the U.S. division of the Fleabag and Gold Rush production group, is leaving after two years at the helm.
Pastore joined the Discovery and Liberty Global-backed super-indie in September 2018, having previously been President of Original Programming and Production at National Geographic Channels. He replaced Greg Lipstone.
Deadline understands that the company, which is run by All3Media Group CEO Jane Turton in London, is not seeking to hire a direct replacement for Pastore. This is due to the federal nature of the business; in the UK, the production companies that make up the company, including the likes of Studio Lambert, Objective Media Group and Maverick TV, are independently run with business and logistical support from the central group.

Exclusive: High-intensity British game show The Cube is coming to America. WarnerMedia has handed the show, which comes from All3Media-owned producer Objective Media Group, a 10-part series order. NBA legend and former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade will host and executive produce.
However, in a slightly unusual move, the company has yet to decide which of its networks or digital platforms the U.S. remake will air on. It was ordered by Corie Henson, EVP and head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV, who is expected to make a decision closer to its 2021 premiere date.
This comes after Deadline revealed that the game show was being brought back in the UK by ITV. The British network is raising the jackpot for the new version of the show to £1 million in its five-part series, produced by Objective label Wildcard Television.

Exclusive: ITV is heading back inside high-intensity gameshow The Cube – the latest classic entertainment format to return to British screens.
The show, which was produced by All3Media-backed Objective Productions, ran for nine seasons between 2009 and 2015 and was one of the commercial broadcaster’s biggest hits.
Contestants were forced to compete in a series of challenges while inside a small Perspex cube. Phillip Schofield, one of the UK’s best-known television presenters, has revealed that he is gay.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, the married father of two daughters said questions about his sexuality had been “consuming him” for years. “With the strength and support of my wife and my daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay,” he said.
Schofield, who presents tentpole ITV shows This Morning and Dancing On Ice, said on Friday that he has endured some “very dark moments” but has come to the conclusion that “being gay is a reason to celebrate and be proud.” He added: “Yes, I am feeling pain and confusion, but that comes only from the hurt that I am causing to my family.”
He added that he has enjoyed support from his This Morning co-presenter Holly Willoughby, “who has hugged me as I sobbed on her shoulder.

Oftentimes, the Osp members find themselves solving cases with global implications.
Occasionally, such as on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 Episode 5, they face less threatening challenges.
But having a case with a healthy dose of fun is just fine.
At the heart of this case was a painting that looked like it had been drawn by a kindergartener.
But then, it just may be that i just don't get art.
Which is Ok, since that was the premise of this case, one of many when squad members get thrust into worlds that they just don't understand.
And hilarity ensues.
When laughter reigns supreme, you can bet that Deeks will be in the middle of it.

In The Tall Grass is the latest original movie from Netflix and is based on the Stephen King and Joe Hill Novel. This mystery horror stars Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) and is directed by Vincenzo Natali the director of The Cube and Splice. It’s visually stunning and has a few twists and surprises along the way, and will feel very familiar to most fans of Stephen King. But how does it compare to other Netflix originals?

Neverout is a unique puzzle game developed by Gamedust that was originally released back in 2016. This was the studio’s first full Vr game and luckily for them received critical acclaim and was very well received by GearVR players. First impressions make it very obvious that this game was developed to be played in Vr but it plays very well on Switch and thanks to the unique gameplay style could very easily have been a Switch exclusive.
Neverout is inspired by the Canadian cult movie The Cube (1997), where a group of captives find themselves trapped inside a series of murderous cube shaped rooms. Neverout follows this example and puts players into a small claustrophobic cube shaped room with only one exit. There is no story in the game, instead players will simply make their way through over 60 levels each with their own challenging obstacles.
