During the first few episodes, the main character was only known as "The Translator". It was not until David Díaz participated in an Instagram live on the "Pasillo de biblioteca" (Library Hallway) channel on December 19, 2023, when his members brought up the topic of giving the character a name. And that's when they all had the idea of calling him with a classic Spanish name, so he ended up calling himself "Evaristo."
David Díaz always tried not to say swear words in each video, however it was inevitable that one of them would slip out at some point and he would have to repeat it.
The plastic eyes are sold in the "Flying Tiger" store along with 3 others in red, yellow and green.
Although there was no script as such, there was a medley of written ideas to help with improvisation so that each video could have a structure with the jokes. Although they lasted almost a minute, many versions of the same phrase were made, the videos lasting up to 4 minutes without cuts.
Trying to create the character, David Díaz initially tried to create some accent, such as Galician. However, in the end the character remained as someone coarse, a womanizer, without mincing words and with no accent. David said that he based it on some bosses he had throughout his life and some actors who never mimed his words when dealing with people.
