Despite to be a program set in 2000, it features three 1999 songs/music videos: Anastacia: I'm Outta Love (1999), Blink-182: All the Small Things (1999) and Christina Aguilera: What a Girl Wants (1999). They were included despite to be released in that year because they reached the top chart in 1999 and also in 2000, or they didn't reached the top chart in 1999 but in 2000.
The first five special "Wrapped" programs set in the 21st century (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004) they were broadcast in a row all along the same night. In the same way, the second five programs (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009) were also broadcast in a row two weeks later.
While the wrapped programs from MTV 80s are a 3-hour Top 50 in countdown, the wrapped from MTV 90s and MTV 00s are a 1-hour special, without countdown.
The program hasn't host to introduce the music videos, and it hasn't opening or ending credits. It only broadcasts the music videos without pause or commercials but a brief channel ident promo each 15-20 minutes. In addition, it shows titles (solo singer/music band, song name and album name) at the start and ending of each one.
