After a boy suffers from brain damage as a baby, he is abandoned by his parents and primarily cared for by his foster sister. We catch up with him later in life to witness his daily struggles. Not all people appreciate his misfortune, including his foster sisters boyfriend, who makes his life that little bit more unpleasant. As his condition forces him to spend most of the time daydreaming, we experience his imagination with him through animation. After a trip to the psychologist to discuss his daydreams, we are left wondering whether a green man that haunts his mind is simply a figment of his imagination or something more significant. Who is his imaginary green man? Friend or foe? A film with subtle comedy and character empathy in this fantasy take on a traumatic situation.
