The Lyell Centre team have a massive project, when eight bodies are found underneath Kings Cross Station, a serial killer is believed to be still at large, evading capture for at least ten years.
After the show's weakest ever series, series 27 has been the best for years, I've enjoyed every single episode, and the finale begins with another excellent offering.
Great start, intriguing, baffling, macabre, cracking start, we still have so much to learn, I can't wait to learn more.
Once again, credit to Ed Whitmore, who never disappoints, whenever I see that band mentioned, I always know we're in safe hands, this was very, very well written.
I loved the chemistry between Jack and Nikki, it felt more natural, I also really liked that Gabriel played a bigger part.
Great to see Hermione Norris, felt like she'd been lifted straight out of Wire in The Blood.
9/10.
