Monique collates a trove of life experiences into the equivalent of an interactive Ted Talk on all aspects of loving and understanding each other. She works the audience masterfully, which is a bold choice for her first recorded special. She's coming from a positive place, partly due to her highly relatable bad choices and missteps along the way. Quick, funny and profound, packing plenty to laugh at and think about in a tight hour package.
