And the question - What if? The film takes action in 2029 in a border town near the power plant. Life in the town flows in the usual way. Guntis (40), a resident of this town, invites his partner Monika (32) to stay with her two children - Joris (9) and Barte (12). But, Monika has a hard time blending in with the quiet life of the town. Her chickens start laying eggs with green yolk, more and more of them every day. According to her youngest son Joris, "fall asleep," Monica herself starts blaming her neighbor, the beekeeper Rapolas (55), whose bees mysteriously begin to die and glow. Monika is always willing to help Mayor Kestas (50) with his wife Ieva (45) and the town policeman Darius (45), who knows all the secrets of the town. Suddenly, the town is shaken by an unexpected earthquake, the sky turns an unusual, mysterious color, and everything gets flooded. Only the water is visible on the horizon, and the residents realize that the town has become an island. Due to the catastrophe, the first suspicions were caused by a nearby power plant, but there was no way to reach it. The townspeople remain cut off from the world, and hopes for help diminish. Their only chance to survive on the island-turned-town is to try to evacuate themselves. However, their plans get compromised by forces of nature, Russian soldiers, who have been on a secret mission in the region. Refugees in town begin to suffer from an unknown illness. And emerging mysteries of townspeople. It is an eight-series film filled with tension and mystery. In each episode, the peaceful inhabitants of the town face supernatural challenges, mysterious diseases, radiation, and the military. Our production is unique - with an exceptional dramatic plot and subtle sci-fi elements. It is a new multi-series film of a sci-fi, mystical drama genre that has not been seen in Lithuania yet.
