Very Good!

I recommend watching this documentary for everyone interested in alternatives to cancer treatment. Much stronger then any review published here are the true testimonies shown in both parts of Burzynski: Cancer IS Serious Business. Take your own conclusion. It just confirms my opinion that west medicine became a big business where disease is more important then healthy life. Medicine became an industry where money is the highest and most important target. If you had lost any dear people for cancer, don miss this documentary! Do not pay attention to bad reviews, as I said before, take your own conclusion.

A must-see for everyone, not just cancer patients...

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is even better than the first. The evidence is irrefutable - evidence of the safety and efficacy of the treatments and of the covert and overt methods of the American Government to shut this man down because of the economic impact a "cure" for cancer would have. So many businesses feed into the maintenance of cancer: big Pharma, University research centers, bio-medical companies, software companies, lab equipment makers, etc. etc... All of these DEPEND on us being neither dead nor well but constant consumers of medical services. The claim by the nay sayers is that anecdotal evidence is not probative, only clinical studies are. First, it's kind of tough to get traction on clinical studies when you're practicing, as Dr. Burzynski puts it, "in a war zone". Clinical studies have to go through the very system that's trying to thwart him. Second, there HAVE been independent clinical studies...wait for the last 15 minutes or so. Third, if these individuals (especially the brain cancer sufferers) can be cured or sent into remission by his methods where conventional medicine sends them home to die...and WITHOUT toxicity, frankly, anecdotal evidence is good enough for me. I have Multiple Myeloma and am in remission. When I relapse, (and I will), I'm going to Houston.

Not a Documentary but an Informercial

Warning: Spoilers
Burzynski:Cancer is Serious Business II is simply more of the same as Burzynski: Cancer is Serious Business I. First of all, BOTH films were made by Eric Merola, an ad man who also happens to be the brother of the man who made Zeitgeist one of the most well known conspiracy films of all time.

Don't watch Burzynski:Cancer is Serious Business I or II expecting to get a fair and balanced view of the Burzynski saga. And a saga it is. For more than 35 years Burzynski has been running fake clinical trials. He has opened 60 some trials, and completed only one! He has NEVER published the results of any of these trials in any peer reviewed journal. Know one has been able to duplicate the results he claims to get. All the while he charges patients hundreds of thousands of dollars to take part in these never ending trials. The only evidence Dr. B offers that he says proves his antineoplastons work to treat cancer are his You Tube videos, his claims on his web site, and the two self serving infomercials Burzynski:Cancer is Serious Business which he paid for himself.

Ask yourself this question. If you had discovered a cure for cancer which would you do? Complete your trials. Write up the exciting results and submit it to a peer reviewed journal thereby making this discovery available to cancer patients everywhere! Also I'm sure you would be a hero and assured of a Nobel Prize.

Or would you not finish the trials and never share your amazing discovery with your peers. Instead you would continue to take patients into these never ending trials charging them hundreds of thousands of dollars. Never sharing your proof with anyone that it works.

Not to be considered science content
cgray-139-18787024 October 2014
This documentary is intended for gullible people who don't understand that emotionally-charged anecdotes do not qualify as evidence in science. If anything, it is suppose to raise suspicion that skullduggery is afoot. This documentary presents ZERO evidence short of anecdotes and, instead, attempts to shake off the burden of providing it by making hypocritical anti-science conspiracy claims and criticizing people for being reasonably skeptical. I was especially sickened when one interviewee presented a recording of a meeting with a patient's oncologist. The family of a desperate cancer patient essentially bullied the doctor until he got frustrated and walked out of the meeting. They then pretended to be confused about why. I wanted to shake the stupid out of these people! I would've walked out too! While I cannot say if Burzynski is a fraud, he certainly fits the M.O. of a snake oil salesman. Burzynski has not succeeded in getting his antineoplaston treatment peer reviewed, which is why he makes these documentaries -- appealing to impressionable public outcry just like the frauds do. His gene-targeted therapy is not a new idea. Gene-targeted therapy is a thing, but Burzynski is hardly among the first to consider doing it. The documentary is simply full of stunning dishonesty. P.S. Some of his anecdotes passed away after having been in this documentary. Make of that what you will.
