...Gone!
douglasmcbroom16 September 2023
As I predicted two-weeks ago, the stars would align in the plot to destroy the smug, self-righteous, walking ego that is Mike Prince (Corey Stoll). However, rather than be refreshed, I found myself just tagging along for the ride; waiting to get this over. Closure, for my 7 Season time investment, with no hope of a return to its former greatness. It's tired. It's run it's course. That's why the incessant, unrelenting, cultural references-the WWE...really?!

And so we settle into the final half of the final season, knowing how it will end and not at all curious as to the manufactured twists and turns that get us there! I have not come to praise Billions, I have come to bury it!

A good show, but this episode is mostly filler

Warning: Spoilers
Adding celebrities and actors to play bit parts should be above this show. John Malcovic and WWE triple H make 2 and 3 minute scenes that really don't add much at all.

Most of the show is just more prep work for the Prince take down this season. It's #6 and haven't really seen any progress at all.

Some rather silly background with the old man and his young wife and child. Let's just call this out for what it is, just compete filler and extensions.
