- Ezra has an accident. Terry and Frances (Brooke Smith) grow closer. Bunchy receives his settlement check. Mickey visits Ezra to talk about the past. Ray and Avi learn some very unsettling news.
- Ray has his hands full: Ashley handcuffs herself to a bar in Ray's bathtub, insisting he have sex with her; Abby is set on inspecting the very townhouse; Ray returns to Compton for adoption papers, stepping into a crime scene; he facilitates a divorce settlement; Mickey drops in on Ezra, and, to Ray's dismay, Ezra has no memory of what either said; Ray breaks into Agent Miller's place and finds his, Ezra, and Lee's pictures on a wall of suspects. Outside Ray's ken, Bunchy buys a bicycle, then a house; Conor drinks and Bridget necks with Marvin; and, Terry wonders what Frances isn't telling him.—<jhailey@hotmail.com>

Ezra is driving down a dark road and accidentally hits someone. He gets out of the car and approaches the not moving body.
The next morning Ray and Avi ponder why the murdered priest case against Mickey was dropped in Boston. Avi shows him the pictures of Mickey meeting with Van and they wonder who he is. Avi calls him the invisible man because he can't ID him.
Lee calls Ray worried about Ezra since he's not answering his phone. Ray tells him to relax. Lee is not good at relaxing.
Abby grounds Connor for hitting Jamie in the head. Connor is not happy.
Marvin Gaye shows up at the door before school and Bridget, nicely, shoos him away.
Frances and Terry have progressed from spaghetti to sex but she's annoyed by his tattoo of the woman from his past. He notes again that she's dead. He asks if there is anyone he needs to worry about. She says no. He wants to see her later but she begs off. He thinks she's hiding something.
Mickey and Bunchy deposit his check for $1.4 million. Then Bunchy tries to bum 50 bucks from Mickey. Mickey sighs and asks the teller to give Bunchy 200 from the check, in tens.
Ray tries to reach Ezra. He tells him he thinks something's going down.
Mickey hooks up with Van as Avi watches.
Ray hears a knock at the door but no one is there. Connor calls to complain about his punishment. Ray tells him to be a man and deal with it. There's another knock and it's Ashley. She says she's not leaving until she sleeps with him and takes off her clothes. Ray then gets call from Ezra's mistress that he's been in an accident and is at Cedar's. Ashley handcuffs herself to his bath towel rung. She says if he leaves she'll scream. As he leaves she starts screaming. He turns on the radio and cranks it up.
Ray goes to Cedar's where Ezra is getting an MRI and freaking out. Ray talks him down. After, a calmer Ezra explains he hit someone and put the body in his car trunk.
Abby chats with a woman named Nomi after her yoga class. Nomi is a life coach and has seen Abby crying. She tries to get her to open up. At first Abby seems willing but when Nomi starts to asks questions about the way Ray treats her Abby gets angry and calls her a "nosy c--t."
Ray calls Lena and asks her to find Ezra's car.
Back at the office Lee calls Ezra and Ray a liability and asks for one good reason not to fire him. Ray notes that he is not the kind of guy you fire. They meet with a client, a man is divorcing his wife, it is very contentious. It turns out the wife is the woman from the hotel that scratched Ray's face. They are bitterly fighting over a settlement when the man stalks out. Lee and the other lawyer go to have a sidebar and Ray calmly tells the woman that her husband knows that she's cheating but doesn't know it's with his brother. If she accepts their offer Ray goes away, if she doesn't it gets worse. She accepts the divorce settlement.
Ashley is poking around Ray's bathroom. She puts on his deodorant and smells herself. She cuts herself shaving and then begins to write her name in blood on the mirror.
Bunchy buys a fancy new bike with some of his money and rides around.
Mickey shows up at Ezra's house. They have a very civil conversation about what went down 20 years ago. Mickey asks how it feels to send an innocent man away for 20 years. Ezra says he feels bad but he points out that they may have inadvertently saved Mickey because he'd stolen a lot of money from a man named Sully. He also points out that Sean shot the girl with Mickey's gun and high on Mickey's drugs. Ezra asks Mickey why he robbed Sully. Mickey says he did it for Claudette, his one true love. Ezra says Ruth was his one true love. His mistress Deb overhears this and puts down the tray of food she was bringing him. Mickey looks at pictures of Ray and Ezra in tuxes and says he thought he was going to be that guy.
Abby bathes, seethes, and smokes. She then gets a determined look on her face. She leaves some money for the kids and takes off. Bridget promptly calls Marvin.
Lee sends Ray to Compton to get papers from Marvin Gaye's mom. Unfortunately, she must have shot off her mouth about the money she was getting to give him up because when Ray arrives the house is ransacked and she and her boyfriend have been shot dead. He finds the emancipation papers. They are bloodied, but she signed them.
Terry calls Francess' work and she's not there. He then calls her cell and asks her to come over. She again begs off for some other night. She is walking up to a house.
Ray brings a cop that he has on his payroll o get Ezra's car. All that's in the trunk is a log. Ezra hit a tree not a person. The cop is annoyed and says Ray doesn't pay him enough for this.
Mickey tells Ezra scary prison stories. Ezra asks what he wants and Mickey says he doesn't know yet. Ezra freaks out and starts yelling that Mickey is "the Golem!" Mickey runs off and Deb comes to comfort Ezra.
Marvin and Bridget and Connor get high and drink and dance. Connor snoops in Ray's closets trying on his jackets and watches and then pukes in Ray's watch drawer. Bridget and Marvin make out and he explains how Ray "bought" him.
Abby shows up at Ray's office. Lena calls Ray and he tells her to get over to townhouse because he has a girl handcuffed to his towel rack.
Mickey meets with Van. It turns out he was wired when he was talking to Ezra. Van is not happy with all the results but is glad to hear that he got him to admit that Sean killed the girl.
Abby sits in the office and peeks through the file that has the pictures Avi took of Mickey. She then opens a drawer and sees the dead priest photo. She also finds Ray's townhouse key.
Avi has tracked down Van's address and he and Ray go to investigate. They find Van's wall of suspects with their pictures on it. They realize this is not good.
Lena pulls Ashley, roughly, out of Ray's place.
Terry goes to Frances' house with flowers and watches dejected as she emerges with a child and what seems like a husband. She doesn't see him.
Bunchy buys a dilapidated house.
Ray goes to see Ezra who tells him that Mickey was there. Ray asks him what they talked about but Ezra can't remember. Ray says he has to, it's important. Ezra says he can't: he has a brain tumor and is dying.
Abby goes to the townhouse and pokes around noting the half handcuffs on the towel rack and the bloody writing on the mirror. She looks under the covers of the bed. She picks up the old photos of Ray's sister that are at his bedside.
Mickey rides around the gym on Bunchy's bike.
Ray drinks at a dive bar watching news reports of the shootings in Compton. He then goes to Ashley's and has sex with her. He stumbles back into the townhouse loaded. He pours a drink and pulls out the boodied Marvin papers and starts to cry. Abby walks in and asks "Who the f--k are you Ray?"
