Wonderful film introspective
dreist16 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
With "Sono tutte stupende le mie amiche" (title taken from a phrase of Cristiana applicant's co-star in the film) once again Roger Fratter, manages to pack a quality indie product, and with the inevitable traits that have always characterized this brave and competent director. Team that wins does not change, then? Yes, without a doubt. First, returns once more to explore and focus on gender introspective, ie the so-called art films (and also add unclassifiable), film work that we can very well enter into a (sort) of the trilogy, which, although it does not appear directly linked to the film prior and subsequent to this, always it has a clear analysis on the woman and femininity. As was done previously, the aforementioned director Bergamo, engages again not only as a director, but also to play the role of the main protagonist, a dual role as we all know, is very difficult to sustain. I avoid doing a description of the plot and the story, I leave the viewer the pleasure of discovering it, the maximum advance that promises well- structured, well-calibrated and set in the right way, so I just in this review to analyze some aspects. If in the previous films, Fratter he played the part of a director with a deep internal crisis, then move on to play the part of a pathetic loser and a surrogate of man, in this film we can say that keeps roughly the same part, indeed Hence its unfortunate placement is even more accentuated, representing the role of the loser in women, capable of hitting and continuously collecting failures and that only at the end (maybe) will find its size, with a surreal and beautiful finish outside the lines. Rarely do comparisons, but this time I can not help it: Honestly speaking this role, Paul Null compared to the previous film, he has just made me mad, and was unfortunately unable to hook me completely, it is probably due to the fact that the character of the previous film, in my opinion was more appealing and He reflected on many things myself, but the fact remains that the representation and the acting by Fratter, this his curious character, namely that of Professor Dario Marconi, is believed to be well made and very interesting to follow, and what not least, arouses sympathy, in fact, in the course of his misfortunes, he interpreted some sequences have provoked me repeatedly hilarity, but also a certain reflection, a phrase I was particularly impressed: "I'm beginning to think that they are not only strange friends Cristiana ... but all women in general" Damn it, this shows that this film among other things, has a cultured side and analytical considerable. Speaking of the cast, beginning with that of men, mostly recycled actors are used in previous work, but which however are still valid and functional, including for example the inevitable William Carrera as always in the shift handsome, and Steve Brooks once again with his hated character, while about the female cast, here we have a rather important change. If in the previous films, like "Cymbaline" three or four women were analyzed (very different from each other) the most important of the protagonist, here mainly aims exceptionally to one. I refer to Cristiana (played by a good and prosperous Liana Volpi), childhood friend of the protagonist, very uninhibited girl and unprejudiced and which has for the protagonist, a relationship of love and hate (especially love), and without anticipating too , put heavy "pepper" to each other and that will be pretty much like the "parsley" in the life of the protagonist. Cristiana though it represents the main female team, the fact remains that over the course of the story other women, (though not at a strong and detailed), they will have to do and also to suffer the poor Dario Marconi, and of which they dutifully do a brief description of each: A black girl looking for a man who keeps a young girl kept by parents and with a compulsive personality and a little order, a Polish maid exhausted and freaked out, a warm and inviting Sicilian brisk and hasty way, a woman blonde no longer young and attracted to the eerie, a beautiful and very high German Italian model, the surface character and of little verve, and finally Donatella, that definitely is the most normal character and more in harmony with Dario Marconi and that for a number of circumstances (caused by its' "hateful" Cristiana), he will tend to move away from the protagonist. By spending a few lines on the music, even here the viewer is absolutely not disappointed, not only music but also some nice catchy songs and fits perfectly to the context, always made by the excellent Massimo Numa, which also appears in a cameo. On location instead we as always interior and well-kept grounds, chosen wisely and opulence, especially at the end where the setting is not only well exploited but even the obvious western references (usually very dear to Roger Fratter). Always on 'final setting, it may perhaps appear at first literally out "place" but I can assure you it is not so, as it fits perfectly dreamlike context of the moment, and this does nothing but enrich even more this film products . I think you get the idea about the film in question, I loved it and I was happy, pleased and pleasantly surprised by the vision, and I can therefore only retrieve and view Femminilità (in)corporea, thus completing this valid and original trilogy of films.
