CHRONIC takes you through the lives of two mass-shooting victims, giving a glimpse of how and what they feel on a daily basis. It's a call for help on what they can do, and what we can do as a nation, to help them heal, while continuing to fight this epidemic and promote gun control in hopes to save our kids, and families from this level of mental trauma. Asia and Leo were unfortunate victims of a mass shooting at the ages of 10 and 13 years old, and have struggled through life with the weight of the chronic PTSD associated with it. Asia lost her only family, while Leo lost a young love, and must now, as adults, mask the unhealed and broken parts of them, while showing up for everyday life as if it never existed. Their story has been long forgotten, but the memories and pain have never faded. Asia and Leo tell the story of the impact that this type of trauma can have on a child and how it will effect them for the rest of their lives. We see them fight through depression, paranoia, nightmares, feeling of loneliness and grief, while also encountering social, dating and work issues.
