The season ended with an episode that was typical of the entire season. It was slow, with a story dragging on with no real progress, and with a hero who is hardly the star of her own show. It relies too much on what was created mainly in the animated series (Clone Wars and Rebels) but hardly brings anything new or interesting to the table. It is basically eight episodes of foreshadowing, of setting things up but forgetting to take the viewer along with it on a compelling journey. Apart from the Clone Wars flashbacks (with a brilliant Ariana Greenblatt) and a mesmerizing Ray Stevenson who will be greatly missed if this series continues, this season was sadly one big missed opportunity.
