The Olympic journey of Kamila Valieva, a 15-year-old Russian figure skating sensation, ends in a doping scandal. Chinese skeleton athlete Yan Wengang wins a bronze medal, the first Olympic medal in any sliding sport in China ever. Beijing 2022 witnessed the joy of the medalists, the tears of those who have missed the podium, the injuries and pain of the hard training, and the regrets of those who have not made it to the Games. The Games end, the venues are empty, athletes return to their home countries. The film reflects on the meaning of the Olympic Games, especially in our complicated times.
