Warning: Spoilers
It is rare that I completely agree with a score that IMDB users give an episode, but 5.8 out of 10 is perfectly applicable with this one.

There are some fun Jeff episodes we have seen over the years, but this one was absolutely all over the place. I wish that we got more coherent storylines or even scenes with the rest of the cast, but what can you do.

American Dad is a show that almost always will make you laugh a little bit, but some of the stories the last few years are about as head-scratching as possible. This was one of those days.

A few good moments, but overall a swing and a miss for American Dad.

less funny and more irrelevant

Is it just me or is the show becoming progressively less funny and more irrelevant? I used to roll on the floor every other minute while watching it, and now I'm just waiting the whole episode for a single decent joke or an engaging storyline. I used to prefer this show to Family Guy in every respect, and now I have to watch an episode of Family Guy (which hasn't gotten better; it's just retained its level of quality unlike this one) afterward just to get my dose of humor. This stagnation didn't start this season, though it reached a new low with it. Please fire the current writers! Please save American Dad! It used to be my favorite show, and now I can't even recognize it.

Why the hate? The main story line was hilarious!

I really hope the 3 star rating crowd will leave in time before the show gets cancelled. There is a quality to American Dad which apparently not everyone can appreciate.

For a seasoned series like AD the current creativity levels are fairly astonishing. There's no cheap shots, no flat character (well, except for Tuttle) while every protagonist gets their episodes and a reasonable development in the confines of the show's premise.

I really hope American Dad keeps going. It's the only cartoon for an adult audience far and wide which can keep balance between light, interesting and creative, while not dipping into political tropes.

It's really obnoxious how ever more often the writers of other shows appear to be in need for a quick political jerk-off. There is a world beyond the staccato of social media think and I'm glad American Dad is representing it.

Unappreciated & Misunderstood

The other side of the coin from the nay sayers is that this is a uniquely brilliant, stunningly creative and innovative animated comedy. It deserves THAT level of praise, not to be dismissed as it is being. That's the thing with Art though. It's divisive and exerts very powerful emotional reactions. I am for one super disappointed that American Dad, after 20 seasons, is not being praised to the rafters by the main stream. In my opinion, which is what all of us are forced to go on, is that it is the single most under-rated and under appreciated animated show in the history of TV. I meant what I said earlier. Every aspect of the show is brilliant, stunningly creative and innovative. It is true work of TV art.
