Sex & Nudity

  • There is no nudity or sex of any kind in this game. It was given its M rating for violence (see below). One of the main characters (female) wears a skin tight suit, however it is not in a sexual way.

Violence & Gore

  • This is where this game gets its M rating. This's an extremely violent and gory game. The main gun of the game has a chainsaw on it which you can use to chainsaw enemies. When this's done, blood and guts spray everywhere, staining the screen. You can see the aftermath of this by looking at the dead body you just chainsawed. You see it cut in half. Whenever you or an enemy is shot, lots of blood sprays out. If an enemy is shot a certain number of times, he'll start to crawl where you can "execute" them. They range anywhere from shoving a chainsaw in their chest to beating them to death with a gun to decapitations. Each gun has a different execution. Whenever you or an enemy goes "down but not out" they leave a trail of blood behind them.

Profanity

  • The profanity in this game is extremely lowered from the other games in the series. In the other games there is constant use of f*ck and its derivatives. In this game, I do not believe that they use that word once. If they do it is very hard to hear. They do generally say sh*t, ass, damn, or hell.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is no drug use at all throughout the game.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This game can be intense. If you and the enemy have a chainsaw you go into a dual where you have to mash the B button. This can be intense since if you lose you automatically die. The final boss fight can be intense too. Some younger children might find the enemies to be scary. Some of the enemies are scary to anyone. I would say a 13 and older will be fine. Maybe a MATURE 12 year old.
