Salahudin takes sick Duncan to a village, where his old swordsman teacher, Zahir, and his family live. He finds that the Morodors have taken over the village and built an Arena. Zahir's wife explains how men have been forcefully taken to fight in the arena, including Zahir. Now Salahudin goes in to save all the captured men and free the village of the Morodors and his old enemy, General Beham.
The host of the game of death poisons Saladin and gives him very little time to survive, but for some reason, the host offeres him a clue to find the antidote to the poison. Anisa joins Saladin on the search for the antidote, but it becomes more gruesome when the new Magistrate of the city mistakes them for thieves.
Saladin and his friends need to spend the night in the desert along with a group of kids, after saving them from being sold to a slave camp. They take turns to tell the kids how they saved them, but they begin to add their own twists where the story gets completely turned from slave camp to wizards, monsters, and magic!
