"The Braxton brothers are on another hero mission"
skteosk5 March 2013
Warning: Spoilers
There are parts of this episode that are deeply frustrating. There are flashes of the good character Tamara could have been(could be?)but they're kind of buried under her acting like a permanently moody cow with a rather underdeveloped back story:It feels like the writers have written themselves into a corner with the "estranged from her parents" idea. The ending of her and Casey getting in on could be a joyous moment but is undermined by her increasingly patronising attitude towards Sasha and the fact that the bond that's suddenly appeared between them is so intense it's bordering on unhealthy.Meanwhile, Brax continues to grate by initially refusing to help Tamara and then indulging in He-Man antics that has Natalie and Tamara wondering how the hell they're mixed up with this family.

What else?Heath and Bianca have some stuff with a social worker which is rather sweet but a bit frustrating and tends to gloss over some important stuff.Meanwhile, there's a nice filling in the blanks chat between Alf and Celia(although if Celia's friend isn't a con artist... what is he?), with Celia achieving the difficult job of staying in character while doing things wildly out of character.Marilyn and Roo are a bit annoying and pointless though.
