Well, as a wrestling fan titling an episode "Who's Next" given Goldberg's catchphrase puts a smile on my face, but regardless this was the kind of direction that the show should absolutely be heading in.

Matt has gone from a very methodical serial killer to someone now very invested in the concept of the podcast. I guess you could say that is a natural progression for someone with his obsessive nature, but it makes for good TV. Creative types having to deal with someone looking over their shoulder is definitely a relatable thing for everyone so seeing it happen in a crazy way like this is entertaining.

A suspiciously short episode, only 30 minutes long.

It opens with a lot of tension. Matt comes to see Ava who is alone the house.

He claims that the tap is still leaking. While Ava ponders if she should grab the kitchen knife. Nathan desperately tries to contact Ava on the phone.

It is all a ploy by Matt. He wants to make sure just how much Ava knows and whether it was she who figured out that he was a killer.

All three of them record a podcast. It is however Matt who heeds attention to detail. Making sure that any background noise does not give the recording location away.

As the police want to talk to Nathan again. He gets the wobbles once again. Especially as Matt made Nathan his alibi.

Well at least the podcast is recorded, so the main plot is in action. It is Matt who smoothly places himself in control. Nathan being the weak link, still unsure about all this.
