So, the season premiere was okay, but this episode took a huge step back. They have tried to turn Brad into this good guy character and remove his flaws, which takes away from an important dynamic we saw in the first season where there were legitimate reasons beyond family while Billie could not go back to him.
And then just recreating the exact same Brad and Billie dynamic with Sasha and her returning friend comes off as so lazy and cheap. They can't think of anything else to do with a female character than have her pining over the one that got away from her days way back in college? Come on now.
