Some reviewers need to lighten up! Frank was challenged about the old rules. The cop who made money selling nudes online to help her family member, dying of pancreatic cancer would do anything to help her family! She wasn't breaking any laws. The episode even points out the photos were in good taste, even beautiful. A picture of someone naked is not porn! Is Michaelangelo's David porn? Is the Birth Of Venus porn? Frank showing compassion, keeping this hero cop on the job was a touching thing! Danny also showed that he isn't such a hard ass as well. This is a good look for him! Like it or not, the world is not the 1950's anymore!

Everything in this episode was off. And everyone was acting out of character.
Frank would have never allowed one of his cops to go against the rules and post nude photos regardless of personal circumstances. He was so solicitous with her that, at one point, I thought he was going to ask her on a date.
Danny making that ridiculous speech to the criminal who accused him of arresting him because of race... Please! Danny would never apologize for something like that. He arrested him because he had a record & fit the description of the attackers.
Erin is nothing but controlled and measured when it comes to her personal life, especially now that she's running for D. A. The way she came on to Jack at her door was out of the blue. She acted desperate.
As for Eddie, I've really had enough of her know-it-all attitude and the writers trying to have her always be right and everyone making excuses for her. She adds nothing to the show for me.

Let's put this into another context:
High-school teacher that is (also underpaid, so using the same justification), sells nudes online.
Could you imagine the negative association that the school would have? They even have to take an oath before they're hired too (assuming the same is said with law enforcement; cause it's also under the government)- so firing them wouldn't be an act of discrimination, it would be due to acting out of line.
Very hot take, and one that I would assure you not all female cops would openly side with lmao.
We have a very fun future if this is the case. Can't wait for future PTA meetings :)

I've loved watching this show for its thoughtful approach to difficult and timely issues. It has done an excellent job in developing the characters and in portraying them in a consistent, believable way ... until now. This episode was so inconsistent with the way in which the characters have been portrayed in the past that it almost seemed like it was a joke, or a Star Trek alternative universe episode. If the writers continue down this path, I'm sure the show will lose its audience very quickly.
The storyline involving Jamie and Eddie was not so much out of character as it was unbelievable for reasons I won't explain in order to avoid spoilers. Every other storyline was unbelievable because of the way the characters responded to the situations. Very disappointing.

I have watched Blue Bloods for years because it Is an engaging show that upholds traditional moral values. As a therapist I have seen the destruction that pornography does to the human brain, and destroys marriages, and families. I am disappointed that it was normalized in this episode. I have lost respect for the producers and actors to bring this in and put a rubber stamp of approval on this addictive, destructive force that is literally rewiring the brains of men and women. Why would you change the very thing that has kept this show going for so long!! Please reconsider your themes for Blue Bloods!

One of the worst episodes ever the fact that a police department would a let cop be do a only fans type site and still work is garbage and if it did it shows how bad society is getting just find the whole thing unbelievable and when she says she making to much money is sickening how could you trust a cop that would do that for a paycheck. The Jamie and Eddie storyline was good and seams to be the only parts of the show lately that saves it. The dinner scene did make me chuckle . Erin storyline was just a show filler to hope the writing picks up because the show is starting to lose all the charm that has kept it going this long.
