By allowing the entire script to be Shore's own monologue discussing his creative process, Sweete has achieved the most vital objective of any director: to themselves disappear so that the subject of one's film becomes the sole and only focus of the viewer. Shore's palatial buildings and vibrant natural surroundings, as well as his canine housemates, complement his serious approach to composition. What every artist can only hope to have as their physical and natural surroundings while engaged in the creative process.
