Over an hour into this movie and I was still waiting for something remotely exciting or even interesting to happen. We get no character development at all, no history or back story, and virtually no plot progression. It just falls flat on virtually every level of film making. We have a family where the only character with any integrity is the young daughter. There's a cowardly wife beater, a spineless wimp of a son who has awful taste in music who doesn't lift a finger to help his mother, who is kind of a piece of work too. The ending was supposed to carry some sort of shiock value I suppose but by the time it happened I was already praying for the credits to roll. A completely pointless endeavor that will disappoint even the least discriminating viewer. What a sham!
