Definitely the worst episode of the series and possibly one of the worst sitcom episodes of all time. Jack McBrayer is usually awful but descends into unknown levels of atrociousness. Not a single funny line at all. If this show goes into syndication they should burn thus first. I have enjoyed this show before and have watched it since the beginning. Leslie Jordon is irreplaceable but if they need to bring in a new character as the baker bring back Vicky Lawrence who played Phil's mother and NOT Jack McBrayer. I still need another 84 characters in this review, but it is very difficult to come up with more synonyms for awful.

Not Jack McBrayer, anybody but!

We love this show, but I have to say if Jack McBrayer becomes a regular we're done. How does anyone look at all the comedy character actors out there and decide this is the guy that needs to be hired? He's horrible, and not even remotely funny. We understand that he had a bit role on The Big Bang Theory. So did a lot of other, far more funny actors. Replacing Leslie Jordon with this guy is a bad decision. There were so many different ways they could have gone. Sticking with Phil's mother and Vicki Lawrence cast in the role was far better. However, maybe not replacing Leslie at all...or at least not yet, would be better.

I only watched this show because I loved The Big Bang Theory stars, but if Jack McBrayer is going to remain on the show, I'm done! It's not even just him, it's the character he plays, dumb story line!
I agree with others, Vicky Lawrence was great in it! I'm done if he's a regular in this role!!! I love Mayim, Jim, and all of the main characters, but I could barely stomach this episode m, he looked like Alfalfa from the Little Rascals! I was excited when they got a wire from him, but it was too much to hope for that he really did leave! That would've been an ending I could live with!
Please either bring back Vicky Lawrence or someone like her!

Why is something this bad allowed airtime even on the Fox network? It is stale, tired, and creakingly NOT funny.
I blame most of this kess on the incredibly poor quality of the writing. The hip point of this episode was when the lead character put a grooming pad in her mouth and licked a cat's back. There was also "jokes" about older women with "visable diaper lines" under their clothes. So incredibly NOT funny.
The writers have a harsh hostile attitude towards older people, Women, even the Amish. Who is so desperate they need to use Amish jokes?
I am sorry, but this is just too DOA to be allowed airtime.
