Animal Advocate : It is estimated that 25% of animals that enter into shelters are pure-breeds. Less than half of dogs make it out of the shelters. Less than 25% of cats make it out of shelters. So that means that half of the dogs going into a shelter will die, and 75% of the cats that go into a shelter will die. We have the ability to change that.
