The Rhys storyline feels like it's setting things up for a miracle cure, which would be rather disappointing.On the plus side, Susan's intervention is actually pretty good and Rhys' decision to accept Vanessa's support shows character development.
Jade's storyline is, thematically at least, similar to her storyline in the previous episode, except that one did make a sort of sense and this one really doesn't.On the plus side, Kyle and Jade are actually starting to work well as a couple, even if Kyle does make a very big assumption.
Although it's a bit too soon after his recent bad behaviour for Andrew to be playing the big brother, Callum and Rani's scenes are actually rather good and they continue to be one of the most enjoyable parts of the show.
