Matthew Perry seems to be on a missions. Not just to flog copies of his book, but to also reinvent himself as someone who is going to champion awareness about drug/alcohol abuse.
And this is refreshing to see. Yes, there was a brief mention a while ago about a film he is hoping to make, but for the most part the main focus has been about spreading awareness through the many public appearances he has made to promote the book.
The humour that made him famous is still present, but there is greater depth to the man now, and we all know a lot more about him than we did before.
