"Born yesterday" is a 14-minute short film from 3 years ago and I came across it mostly because of actress Larisa Oleynik who I am quite a fan of. The director of this little movie here is Nathan Larkin-Connolly and he also came up with the script. Oleynik plays the female lead character, the mother of a boy who ages far too quickly. The premise here is that a life is pressed into one day and it's the parents' task to make this day worth living for their son. At 11 o'clock maybe, he is already grown up and has his first girlfriend. When he dies at maybe 10 pm, he looks like an old man already. Interesting premise and strong execution here from everybody involved. The ending is pretty emotional with the last dance sequence. I recommend this one. It's a good watch.
